Friends

The girls have gone for five days holiday to my mums so I intended to use the time wisely ! No such luck though, Monday evening I met up with some old school friends (did I really leave school 25 years ago ?!!) I felt 18 again and it was great - neither are married although one is planning it - so there was 'boy' gossip

Today an even older friend (can't ever remember not being her friend) came down from Lancaster and we had a drink at the garden centre. It was fantastic. I last saw her probably about 6 years ago but it felt like only yesterday. Am really going to miss her which is strange. Have missed her the last few years already but, who knows, she may decide to migrate herself - I can but hope !

Tomorrow I'm having coffee with an old work colleague then in the evening I'm out for a meal with some girley friends from church and Friday I'm out with another friend.

The strange thing is that when we started this migration process hubby and I sat down and said how few friends we had ! I'm sure things have changed only because both sides are now making more effort. Makes me realise what I'm going to miss and how much effort I'm now going to have to put in on the other side.

On the negative side, my belly is exploding these days and, at this rate, I'm going to need to purchase an extra seat to fit my big arse in
