leaving party over

today we had our 'goodbye' party. We had a casino (with fun money), giant jenga, target, twister, downfall and connect four. It looked like everyone had fun, weather was fantastic, really hot, kids ended up in a water fight followed by a game of rounders.

A few sad people decided to make a 'stand' by not turning up - like we care !! We are off to make a new life in the sun down under without them in our lives and they'll still be stuck here in the same dreary routine with just their arrogance to keep them company.

When it came down to it, it's amazing how many friends we have, ok, I have, hardly any of Paul's turned up. I was chuffed and it's a great feeling. Let's hope I manage to keep some of them !
