• Friday 27 March 2015 - Over a Year after Returning to the UK

I returned to the UK from Spain over a year ago and life was good. My wife and I readjusted quite easily to being back in the UK. Granted, there's still a few slip ups here and there where Spanish life and culture was engrained in us. Life was all good, we were great, seeing old friends and making new ones. What I really struggled with was last month, when I got my car insurance renewal quote through. When we first got back we expected it to be high. No one would accept my NCB and it was a nightmare. But I needed to be able to drive, so they had me right where they wanted me. This year, a friend of mine suggested calling a broker company. Long story short, everyone that said UK insurance companies don't accept foreign NCB were wrong. The brokers saved me over £900. Needless to say, my wife and I were over the moon. Anyway, I don't want any of you to go through the same thing I did in the first year. So find a specialist broker who can help you.
