We received our approval for Canadian Citizenship and we have been summoned to appear to take the oath of Allegiance on the 18th October 2010 at 9:30am The Oath of Citizenship is an easy one to take for a UK Citizen.
.
"I Swear that I will be faithful and bear true allegiance to her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second, Queen of Canada, Her Heirs and Successors, and that I will faithfully observe the laws of Canada and fulfil my duties as a Canadian Citizen..."
.
OK back to day to day life. This last week has been my R&R break from work and I have been 'resting' working on home projects Carpet down in the basement office, mowing the lawns, clearing the dead wood from the boundaries and catching a cold.
We still managed to visit the Irving Nature Park (which we found after living here for nearly five years and never been able to find this park on the outskirts of Saint John). We discovered a beautiful nature park within 1.5 hour drive from home. Below are several photos of the park.

Julie handing feeding Chickadees (much like UK Blue Tits)

Julie photographed this fox just outside the Park

The fox is in excellent condition compared to the mangy things we used to see around towns and cities.
OK have to sign off now and get ready to go to work tomorrow.
