The last weekend seemed like a long one!
I was working late (6pm) when I received a call from one of my bosses. "Dad, Mum wants to know what time you are coming home? You do remember that you have Tango Lesson tonight don't you?" ........ Dad's confident reply "Yes of course I know, tell Mum to eat dinner now I am on my way home"......
.
Well I arrived home about 6:24pm, damn traffic added about 10 minutes to my 13 minute commute. I hurriedly stuffed my face with Scallops, wrapped in bacon (heavenly food) as Kathryn watched me with more than a little hurt "I cooked dinner tonight and you are wolving it down without even tasting it".... My muffled response was telling her I was speechless because they tasted so wonderful. They did too
.
So Friday Evening Tango Practice, I am still waiting to learn how to bend over backwards and snatch up a long stemmed rose between my teeth without falling over.
.
Saturday morning I drove to Saint John for a meeting and arrived back at 2:45pm. We then went out to Mactaquac Park for the Newcomers club winter fun day. Too late to do any cross country skiing or snow shoeing. We did discover that there are two ice rinks (frozen ponds) that are cleaned and prepared for skating on all free of charge. Then we had a sleigh ride see the photos below
