Whelbourns in Canada

• Wednesday 2 January 2008 - More Snow than you can shake a shovel at

Well after shovelling the 30cm of snow from the great storm of 31st December 2007 we are now into the HUMUNGOUS SNOW STORM OF 2008. Looking out of the window this morning I am guessing we have had about another ooooohhh 50-60cms overnight and it is still snowing.

.

Apparently according to the weatherman this is our fourth winter storm in seven days.... not sure about that but we don't take much notice when the snow is only about 10-15cm.

.

I will update during the day as we dig out

. Update 8:50am

OK forget the 50-60cm estimate we are reaching the realms of 70-80cm and it is still snowing. I was all geared up to start shovelling and then opened the door! Back for more clothes and time to wake the shovelling crew from their slumbers.

.Update 12:00am

Photos as promised

This is from the bottom of the drive as you can see the Grinchmas sign is up to his neck in snow.

Below is the shot from the front of the house

Kathryn headed out to the bird feeder to help the birds survive. The bird feeder has a flat roof.
