Well, I'm not too sure just how hot it got on Sunday but it was still 31 at 6pm!!! I had a stinking head cold (still do) so you can imagine how awful I felt. We had the fans on but they barely touched the temperatures. Thankfully, it cooled a bit during the night so we all slept OK.
It's been cooler since, a little cold today actually but at least the gardens got a bit of rain on them yesterday. Melbourne's VERY dry, much more so than Sydney, and the gardens are just yellow and it's not even summer yet.
Mum and Dad, your parcel for the girls arrived yesterday and they were thrilled with their new jewellery. I had to fight Ellie to get hers off for school today lol. The photos were great too, can't believe how much Jamie's changed in just 3 months.
Thanks for the call last night Nicola, I must have sounded like a mad woman, but it was just sooo lovely to hear a friend's voice. Apparently 3-4 months is the peak time for homesickness and you got the brunt of it I'm afraid. Big Sigh. Can't wait to get the wedding DVD, we got the photos this morning in your email cheers.
I've just added a few photos that Sandra took of the kids at the Zoo meeting Barbie and I've also scanned some of the professional shots we had done the other week. Mum and Moira - originals will be in the post soon.
