We had a fight over who got the lie in today.  It was both my birthday, and Australia's Father's Day.  In the end, we both lost out as by the time we'd argued about who was lying in ("you lie in", "no, you lie in") we were both wide awake.  Campbell was up by now anyway with Brody so we just got up.

 

Mike got a set of tools for the barbie for father's day and I was getting tickets to see Muse play in November for my birthday.  I also got a fab bunch of flowers so we were both quite happy.

 

Not sure if everyone in the UK has forgotten my birthday (they seem to have forgotten Mike's as he only got cards from our parents!!!!!), we'll see what the postman brings next week wink wink lol.  I also got some money from Mum and Dad and a lovely bangle from Jim and Moira - thank you :-).

 

After breakfast and more fun with the Wii, the Scotts headed off to Ikea before going home and we headed off to try and get a chest of drawers for Becca and a barbie.  We also got Ellie some bits and pieces for school (a Bratz towel and pencil case). 

 

Ellie was VERY excited about going to school.  At bedtime, she was really good, she knew she needed to get to sleep early and we were really pleased that she was so happy about it.
