Today Mike rebuilt the dining table and chairs, coffee tables, bedside tables and the kitchen table and chairs.  I think his hands are raw!! 

 

Our first house guests arrived today.  We had a visit from Lynn, Campbell, Ahren and Brody Scott.  For those of you who don't know, they are good friends of ours from Scotland who emigrated here nearly 2 years ago.  They currently live in Port Fairy which is a small town about 3-4 hours drive from here.  They were up to visit the Melbourne Home Show as they are just about to removate a house they've bought.  It was great to see some familiar faces and the kids got on like a house on fire.

On the Sunday, We all headed into the city today with Lynn and Campbell and the boys to the Home Show.  It was quite good actually.  We got lots of free food samples, the kids played in the cubby houses, and Campbell spent a lot of time talking to various vendors about bits and pieces he needs for the house.  The best bit of the day though was the massage chairs.  Lynn and I discovered them and the woman let us sit in them for a shot.  Not just for a minute though...for the full 15 minute deep muscle massage.  It was FAB.  The kids had a little shot too and then Mike and Campbell had a go.  Fantastic, and only $3000 each lol.  It was almost worth spending the entrance fee to the show to get the massage alone lol.
