We got the house yyeeehhhaaaaa.  We drove to Caroline Springs and paid our bond this afternoon.  Can you believe it - £567 a month (plus bils but no council tax) and it's brand new with 5 bedrooms (master has en suite and massive walk in), open plan lounge/kitchen/dining, study and rumpus room. We're really happy.

 

We also picked up our car today which is FAB.  I haven't actually driven it yet as I'm still feeling trrible with the tonsilitis.  I've actually cancelled my lunch out with friends tomorrow as I'm just so sore :-(.  We're wondering if Mike's getting it as well now as his throat's been bothering him today!!  eeekk

 

The girls got a nice surprise today too as we took them to K Mart and got them some toys to play with.  They got Bratz dolls, Princess pillow, a couple of games, a Dora, a buggy and bath toys.  That should keep them going till their "old" stuff arrives.

 

So, 13 days in and it's looking good.  We've got the car, house and job sorted.  The cats are home on Sunday which is excellent as the girls and I are really missing them.  All that's left after that is for the container to arrive.  It's due in onFriday and then needs a couple of weeks to get through customs.
