End of an Era
Today is Mike's last day at work in Resolution.  It's only his 2nd job so he's leaving with mixed emotions.  That said, he's shattered as he's only had 3 days off all year so he deserves a loonnnnnnnggg rest.  He now has 3 interviews set up for when we land in Melbourne and everyone we speak to over there says the market is really strong in his area right now so it seems he's going to have no bother getting more work.  He's even gotten a 2nd interview following his midnight webcam interview so if he can do that whilst literally half asleep, just imagine what he can do when he's awake and face to face !

Although we said our goodbyes to Mark and Morna a few weeks ago when they were over visiting, Mark is back in Scotland this week bringing some of their stuff over in the car so he and Mike had one more goodbye with a variety of Belgian beers last night.  The goodbyes have continued for the girls and I today too as we said goodbye to Sharon and Rosie and Isobel (we'll see Niamh and Eilidh next week at Cheryl's).

Tomorrow is likely to be the last time I see Mike's brothers and sister in law when we travel to Kirkcaldy for a family do.  Mike's planned to see Adrian and Steve again next week for a few beers but I can see them all now - doing the macho, patting each other on the back thing lol.
