Woke up this morning to the news that my pal Sam (professional princess) has had security clearance approved in order to progress her visa application.  This is HUGE.  Sam's husband is from a troubled country and it was unlikely that they would complete the required police checks.  They arranged for George Lombard (migration agent extraordinaire) to appeal to Australian Immigration and got owrd this morning.  From reading Sam's posts, it seems they had almost given up on the dream of moving to Perth so this news must be amazing!!

Mike has transferred the bulk of our equity to Westpac this morning.  We got a rate of 2.402 which is a little lower than it has been recently, but nowhere near as low as it could fall.  OMG, the only way to get it back now is to go to Australia.

The girls and I are off to see friends we made at NCT classes when I was pregnant with Ellie.  It'll be a goodbye for the girls but not for me as I'm seeing the Mum's for a night out next month.
