It's May the 4th. Apparently that's International Star Wars day, so can I be the first to say "May the fourth be with you"
.
Big news today is that Ellie's first baby tooth fell out at nursery this morning. She's sooooo excited at getting a coin from the tooth fairy and also at being the first in her class to lose a tooth (apparently she's a bit early at only just turned 5). I was a little concerned at how Ellie might react when the tooth actually came out. She can be a bit sensitive sometimes, and being on the young side, I wondered if it might freak her out a little. Just goes to show how much she's growing up and changing. She's certainly much more outgoing at the moment, and long may it continue
.
Whilst I'm excited for her, I'm also a little sad at my first baby growing up. God, I can still remember the sleepless nights whilst waiting for that teeny white tooth to come through. And, I still remember the day we first discovered it when we put a spoon in her mouth at lunch time and it hit something hard lol.
hhhmmmmmmmmmmm(big smiles).
We're off to have dinner with Mum and Dad and James and Donna tonight so it'll be nice to get a chance to catch up with James. We've hardly spent any time together the past few years, and we hardly know each other anymore. But saying that, he's still my wee brother and I'm looking forward to a few get togethers with him before we move. After dinner I'm taking my Mum and the girls to my Gran's. She has such a soft spot for Ellie it'll be a nice treat. And of course, we'll take "the tooth". But apparently we need to clean it before anyone gets to see it lol.
