Actually, I usually love Tuesdays as it's the day I visit my Mum and Dad for the afternoon. 

However, recently, there's been a problem...my sister in law.  I actually really like her, but over the past few months, she has become increasingly moody and it really spoils our weekly visits.  I'm not sure exactly what it is that is the problem with her, but yesterday she turned up yet again, with a face like fizz.  Granted she had a cold, but come on, she acts like a teenager.  Mum said she'd seen her the day before and she was fine so is it just us???!!!!

She had a shocking mood at Christmas time too, and really spoiled our trip into Edinburgh with the kids for the Christmas markets.  I am starting to think about going to my Mum and Dad's at a different time.  She seems them a lot during the week as they mind my niece, and also, they just live down the road.  But, this is usually the only time in the week where the girls and I see them, and I'm starting to dread it.

On a more positive note, we hadn't seen Mum and Dad for 3 weeks as they've been in Thailand so we had a lovely visit with them, and their holiday sounds amazing.  They brought the kids back lots of lovely gifts so they were all thrilled.  They go on holiday again to Brazil in 5 weeks - nothing like slowing down in retirement eh??? lol.

My 86 year old Gran was at Mum's yesterday too which was great.  She's looking pretty good this week, and is off on holiday today with her pals - not bad for an old lady with 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.  She has asked if all the women in the family (my Mum has 4 sisters and 1 sil, plus all the female grandchildren) can go out for a meal in MArch around the time of her birthday.  Gran is adamant that she want to take us out andshe'll be paying which is amazing.  My Mum told me later on that the real reason she wants to do it so badly is because I'm going away and she thinks it might be the last time we can all get together.  Gran welled up a little when she was talking to my sister and I about it, I think it'll be a hard night for us both.
