Christmas Eve
Up sharp and Mum and Dad arrived early fr our trip to the Santa Steam Train. It was FREEZING but great fun. We ate mince pies and satsumas and sag Christmas songs with Santa and his helpers.

Mum and Dad came over for a coffee afterwards and then we bathed the girls and tidied up the house. In the afternoon, we had dinner at Beancross farm which was perfect. They have a little area set aside where the kids can play while the adults eat and Ellie and Rebecca just floated between eating dinner at the table and playing with their pals. Nicola, Gordon, Sophie and Molly were there too so the kids were VERY happy. Got a lovely surprise gift from them of a Willow Tree ornament called Happiness which symbolises our move to Australia - a really thoughtful gift.

Got home around 6.30 and the girls were asleep by 7.30. By 8.30 santa had been and Mike and I opened our gifts to each other with a glass of wine.

I got an Australia calendar, Clarins stuff, Chanel perfume, an MP3 player and a bluetooth headset for my mobile phone. Mike got a CD, a DVD, some Aussie beers and snacks, a book, aftrshave, silver cufflinks with St Andrews Cross on them and a shirt
