Had to return the hire car this morning, and thankfully they didn't seem to mind/notice the big scratch on the back bumber where the wall at the bottom of our driveway jumped out and hit it!!!!

 

Of course, returning the hir car meant I had to drive for the first time  aarrrghhhhh!!  I am normally more than happy to drive but because it was a new car, a new country and an automatic which I'd never drven before I was a bit nervous.   However, my hand was forced as Mike can't drive 2 cars at once, no matter how good he is lol.  So, I got a quick 2 minute instruction on how to drive an automatic and then I was on my own.  I followed Mike to the rental place about 10 minutes away and then he "made" me drive into the city.  The drive was fine.  The roads are very sim to the UK, the car was a dream to drive, and the tom tom did the navigating :-).

 

So where in the city did I drive?  Ikea of course lol.  We bought a load of new plates, glasses etc, to replace all the tuff we haven't shipped over which was great fun.  The kids got a play in the kids area too so they were happy bunnies.
