What a 24 hours we've had!!!  The house went online yesterday and around mid afternoon we had a call from the Estate Agent asking if we could accept viewers at 5.30!!!!!!  So, much running around putting out all the good towels, mopping floors etc and I took the girls down to Nicola and Gordons at 5pm.

Finishing touches done, and the viewers arrived.  They were a lovely couple with a 3yo and a new baby on the way.  They seemed to like it, but didn't enthuse so when Mike came home at 9pm I told him I didn't really think anything would come of it.  How wrong was I?????

9.45 this morning and the EA called to say they were offering us £235,000!!  Was gobsmacked.  That was exactly the figure we had in mind.  Only downside was they want entry on 13th April.  I called Mike and we agreed to reject it as it was the first offer and very soon.  However, they the came back with a further offer of £240,000 and we have decided to accept it.  Their solicitor's written formal offer was received within an hour and their surveyor is coming round tomorrow.

OOMMMMGGGGGGGG!!!  Looks like we're moving in 9 weeks.  Now, we've got to wait for conclusion of missives and then find ourselves a rental.
