Nicola asked if we fancied a wander around Ikea and some lunch with the kids this afternoon so off we drove to Ikea Edinburgh. Ellie and Sophie had a lovely play in the creche whilst Nicola and I took Becca and Molly round the shop. OOOhh, I love Ikea. I get such a buzz out of that place. All that stuff I never knew I needed just calling out to me.

Today's effort wasn't too bad - £58. Been worse. Still, I bought a few useful (useless? time will tell) box/drawer dividers to try and sort out Ellie's drawers. A few of those big clothes bags to get rid of all the girls spare clothes that are gathering cat hair in the spare room. I also got two adorable cuddly kangaroos with ickle Joeys in their pouches for Christmas and some new duvet covers for the girls too. Feeling quite satisfied with my lot this afternoon.

Girls are now happily playing with their play doh at the kitchen table - have you smelled that stuff recently? It's gorgeous, and completely takes me back to being a child.

Right, Mikey's home sharp at 6 tonight so off to make dinner and bath the girls first.
