Pregnant !

12 weeks to be precise. Had our 12 week scan yesterday, and all is (in the words of the sonographer) perfect. We have even see our little one in 3D, those modern ultrasound machines are amazing. We have pictures, loads of them, and even a DVD of the whole scan as she did it.

Its been real hard keeping it from you all. I cant tell you how I felt when I saw the result when we initially did the test. I did not read the instructions about how to read the result, so K gave me the test, I looked, and there are 2 lines there. So, I thought oh this one probably gives 2 lines if you are not. So, I read on, and read on, and it keeps saying 2 lines means you are pregnant. I read it like 5 times to make sure, then cried. K, being her usual calm collected self shed one tear I think.

For those in the UK taking the mick by the way, it wont be called Stone. I really like that name, but K wont have it. We do have a few names in the pipeline, we will wait until we know the sex before letting you know the name.

So, the master plan is almost complete. We came here to change our lives, and although we never said it, the baby idea was near the top of the list. 3 months in, we conceived. Its amazing. No stress, plenty of fresh air and exercise, and BOOM, done. Cant recommend it enough to you all, I am trimmer now than I have been in years, fitter too.

So, my darling wife now has 28 weeks of carrying our little one left. She is doing so well, I am so proud of her. Right now, the baby is 5.6cm long, just a bit longer than your thumb. It grows rapidly from here on in, and K's bump is already showing.

We have our own little family now, Me, K, little one, and the dogs. Plus, we have some really nice friends from my football. All we need now is the house, and we live in hope. Approaching 6 months since we arrived, all the hard work is now starting to pay off, and we are really beginning to enjoy life here. I drove home from footy training with a huge smile on my face, life's pretty sweet right now.
