The parents in law are here. After what seemed like a never ending wait at the arrivals hall, they finally appeared, looking well rested, and ready to go. Dogs loved the guests, they are two soppy sods that pair. Toby had to have a jab today, he was real brave, and never yelped.Lovely weather here today, been sunbathing a bit. Only around 25 degrees as it is quite windy, but really nice, with a few clouds. Went to the Pymble hotel with Mark last night for a few, which was our first night out really since we have been here, and it was nice to get out for a drink. We have put off going to restaurants etc until the parents got here, but will be hitting it hard from now on ! Especially as the dogs are ok to leave for an hour or two on their own now, life is good. Bloody container is proving a real pain. Grace removals are not covering themselves in glory, so a snotty email has been fired off the the UK. I know it's Xmas, but it's Xmas for us too, and some furniture in the house would make it more of a merry Xmas than the sparse existence we are living at the moment. Currently due to be delivered on the 2nd Jan, unless I can persuade Doree Bonner to do something with Grace, we will see. I will update the blog with the result, so anyone preparing to ship may well want to bear this in mind before selecting your shipping company. Jim's gone off for a nap, Sandra is still awake although I caught her copping some Z's on the deck earlier. It's tough when you first get here, the jetlag is a killer. Here is wishing you all a very merry Chirstmas, and a happy new year ! Hope to see some of you out here in the coming months, and dont forget to pick me up a bottle of vodka or two on the way ! { Last Page } { Page 32 of 77 } { Next Page } |
