Will the last Englishman out of the country turn the lights out please ?

12 weeks to go people !

Things are moving real fast now. It's only 12 weeks and we are off. We've booked into the Crowne Plaza Heathrow for our final UK soiree. One short step from there, on the plane, and gone.  We've gone for the Executive room ofcourse, with access to a private lounge with a fully stocked bar etc. Canapes at 7:30, lovely old job.

Staying in the Mercure Sydney Airport Hotel when we arrive for 1 night, before picking up the 6 berth motorhome monster the next day. The hotel looks lovely, and was recommended to us by the camper van people. Very reasonable on price too.

The exchange rate is doing rather well again, so much so that at the weekend we sent another bundle of cash over. We traded right at the peak, 2.5017 interbank rate, which was ace !

Had to work all weekend, but that's the deposit on the boat paid for I guess, so it was not all bad. Been looking at some real lush rental properties on the web too, the pool's, the huge gardens, we are gonna be brown mo fo's !
