Im bored

I am stuck at work and really bored. The sun is shining and I cant wait to finish.

We have not heard anything off the EA about the sale of our house. It's been a few weeks since we accepted the offer and thought something would be happening by now. I dont want to call them incase I am tempting fate. We are both so nervous that the sale goes through. It says on the news that house prices could drop at best 5 -10%. We need all the money we can to set up in Australia.

We have now booked our medicals. We are going to Huddersfield on Wednesday 28th May. I am soooo nervous about having a blood test. I hate them and even typing this is making me feel quesey. Eugh, I hope I can do it.

We have also requested the police checks. We handed the form in to the police on Friday 9th May and was told they are taking 6-7 weeks.

We are also unsure where we want to settle in Australia. From the start we have always said Adelaide. We dont know why we picked there. I think it was because the property seemed cheap and the weather sounded good. We are now considering Brisbane. We dont know what to do. We have never been before and want to deffinately make sure we make the right choice. We think we may fly to Brisbane and try to get a feel of the areas, jobs, houses etc... and then fly to Adelaide and do same. We will then pick which we feel is best.

We have never fancied Perth. not sure why as alot seem to love it but it does seem very expensive and hot. We did consider Victoria but it doesnt feel as strong as Brisbane or Adelaide. It seems funny that certain areas grab you even though we have never been. I have reasearched Adelaide so much on internet and not so much Brisbane, but there is something about Brisbane that I like.

OMG, I ramble on.

Hey

Having experienced Adelaide and Brisbane I've got to say I thoroughly enjoyed Adelaide. Nice people, very clean city and surrounded by green park. You can get the tram to Glenelg beach which I believe may have been one of the beaches used in Baywatch when it relocated to Aussie. I can understand why you're drawn there in your research. I'm sure you'll be happy wherever you choose! Good luck!
