Well I've not updated my blog for a while.
We have accepted an offer on our house. it's from the couple who viewed. They are 1st buyers with a mortgage in place. We are really happy and just hope it all goes smoothly.
At 1st when we accepted I felt really depressed. it was the thought of leaving our home. Australia became real. it wasnt just talking about it and filling in forms but a reality. We were selling the house we have worked hard and got into debt for and now we were selling it, knowing we could probably never afford to own a house like it again.
Well i'm over that phase now and really excited. With the sun coming out it has brightned my mood and I cant wait to start our new life. Warren and me have had a talk about everything. He leaves everthing to me and didnt think about all the things we need to plan. He just thought we could land in Oz, move into a house, get a job and surf and get a tan. I have been having sleepness nights thinking about if we will have enough money to live, rent and hopefully buy a house in future. Also were in South Australia will we settle, how do we find this out, will boys settle and how do you choose schools, what things do we take with us etc etc... With two of us thinking and doing it together, it will be an adventure and will fall into place when we get there.
We are hoping to book meds soon. I want to make sure there are no probs with them before we complete on sale of house. I think we are all healthy, but the meds seem the only thing we cant control. I know our police checks will be fine because we have never done anything wrong.
Anyway best get back to work . |
