Hello, we are the Thorpe family. There is me Jill and i'm 31, Warren whos 32 and Liam, 11 and Jack 6. We live in Royton in Oldham. Warren is main applicant and he is a Furniture Finisher or French polisher as its known in UK.
We have been talking about moving to Oz for about 2 years. We finally decided to get the ball rolling in August 2007. We took our time getting all the details for the skills assesment together because we eventually got married on 21st September 2007. We have been together for 13 years but never got around to tying the knot.
Our agent sent our skills assesment of on 1st February 2008 and we passed on 10th February 2008. We then applied for 175 MODL visa on 19th March 2008 and are still awaiting further details.
We have decided to put our house on the market now so hopefully we would be ready to go to Oz as soon as visa came through. I dont think this will be the case as the house has been on market for nearly 2 months and we have only had 1 viewer. The house is priced cheap for our area but the market is not moving.
