6 November (couldn't think of a decent title)

Posted on Mon 6 November 2006 at 06:07

So, Karen is feeling lazy and so it's my turn to blog.  Not alot going on this week.  Melissa went riding at the Waikato Equestrian Centre on Saturday, (see her blog bit below) then stayed at a mate's house for the night.  We took full advantage of this and went to next door's BBQ!  Our neighbour turns out to be a brit whose been here 13 years, and lived in St Neots.  He even went to the same school as me in Huntingdon (though not at the same time I don't think).  Small world!

Anyway, as we were at the riding school Karen booked all of us in for an hour's ride this Wednesday...I'm trying to put on a brave face but I haven't been on a horse for years...how do you steer again?

It seems that everyone has run out of fireworks cos I haven't heard any yet tonight.  It's a non stop firework display apparently from the end of Oct until Nov 5th, after which they save whatever is left til next year...or maybe not if the Govt has anything to do with it! Right, here's Melissa's bit.....

I went riding at a place called Waikato Equestrian Centre I rode a horse called Obie he was chestnut we went over trotting poles and cantered there were seven people in the group.

Bye from Melissa.

(These are Chestnut in case you didn’t already know)

(sorry if your colour blind)

Ok, that's all from me.  Karen is still enjoying work and I'm still looking for some (at least that's what i tell her!!).

Steve
