Moved In

our usual blogger is temporarily kicked off the computer so I have the chance for a go!

We've moved into the house.  Bedroom furniture is set up and looks cool (Karen says it looks Victorian).  Very warm day today, so we went shopping and bought a small patio set, then spent the afternoon sitting on the back verandah (as opposed to our front one!) eating a rather lovely strawberry torte from the Cheesecake Shop and enjoying the flora and fauna (orange tree and bloody HUGE butterflies!).

With everything basically sorted now I guess I should start looking for some kind of employment, well, I'll think about it!

We are all braodbanded up and I am writing this on the laptop.  In fact, as we have a wireless connection I am looking forward to making more entries from one of the verandahs!

We were given money as a leaving gift and have bought a nice print of an unfurling fern which is now on the wall.  We have definitely moved in cos there is also a photo of the boys and Melissa up!  Once the rest of the stuff arrives we plan to have a flag wall, consisting of my St George Cross, flanked by Karen's St Andrew's Cross (Saltire) and Lion Rampant.  These will be hung on the dining area wall thereby creating a conversation piece for any visitors!
