My phone says it is about 10am but it is 6.10pm here!

 we have 4 hours to waste so here I am, blogging away in the Airport, sad sod that I am!!

Can't fault the first flight at all, the standard of service was superb.  Bit of a downer though over the dreaded excess luggage - the chap at Heathrow said they probably would have let us pass without charging, but he did say it would have cost 580 quid (can't find the pound sign!!) if they had charged so I still think we did the right thing!!

Never did start crying which amazes me no end, not even when my sister phoned and I phoned my sons to say goodbye. 

Nothing else to add really, just pleased to have started the epic journey but I bet I will be even more pleased when we are finally there.
