| I can barely fit into my 'fat' clothes now! We're going shopping at the end of the week to get some maternity clothes which will be no easy task in Welly. Can't wait until Steve heads back to the UK, I will have a HUGE shopping list for him - including food of course! I have headaches everyday and the morning sickness hasn't improved very much. I did a two hour glucose test on Monday which mean't overnight fasting and three blood tests. It was a dreadful experience. I only hope I don't have gestational diabetes. I have headaches everday and some dizziness. Very unlike the other pregnancies. Steve received positive news about the job in Queenstown and now he's heading down there for the day next Wednesday. It would be great for him to get an offer. Things are pretty stressful at the moment. Steve's english company paid us, but HSBC haven't cleared it. There is a delay and we can't get our money and we can't do anything until its morning in the UK which is terribly frustrating. Another hurdle in being an Expat! HSBC have been making the time of cleared funds later and later. Steve is furious and I'm just agitated that nothing is easy. Fingers crossed that Steve gets this job, then we won' t have to rely on his English salary. Apart from this annoying hiccup I am feeling a lot less stressed having given up work. Being able to veg out, snack when I need and nap when I need is great! When I drive anywhere I'm not charging in a blind panic to an appointment, I'm just taking my time. At the moment, I'm not chomping at the bit to get a new job so I'm just going to ride this out and enjoy the peace! Its so weird that my mobile doesn't ring during the evenings and weekends, I dont have any narky text messages from the boss and I don't dread the mornings! Got a nuchal scan next week and I'm looking forward to seeing the baby again! Finally Steve will get to see the baby. |
