| Today Steve and I went into the city for my first day of work. Parking was a breeze in my new space!! We're going to save so much money on parking fees and not driving two cars with my new job! YAY! The day was unusually dark and miserable, but it really added to the feel of Welly. The christmas trees are on display and stores are filled with gift ideas, christmas food and lots of wine! YAY! It felt like London it was incredible. Steve's office building is literally at the end of my street and across the road so he can look out the window and see me! And guess what's slap bang in the middle of our offices?? Only a sushi place!! YAY!!! Life is good! Last night I was a bit anxious about today. It has been a while since I've done a 'proper' job and I worried I might struggle from brain overload! But it was so gooooood!! I was kept busy, and all of the mundane tasks were to be passed on to admin people, receptionists and the Accounts woman!! - Well, mundane for me! Steve said I would have nothing to do all! The manager is so nice, well they all are! I was pretty keen to get stuck in! Although most of the afternoon was spent with me trying to work out how the hell to use my work mobile phone! I met Steve for lunch and it was awesome. Its the first time that we've met up properly. He was happy about the way his morning went and I excitedly informed him about my morning. We were equal!! I wasn't complaining about washing and cleaning products! I'm really looking forward to getting stuck in with this job. And I'm really looking forward to spending time like this with Steve. When we got home, the Nanny had cleaned up and Pip seemed very happy. It was a weight off our minds. Moons was really miserable from a long day at school, all we need is to get Moons out of that school and into her new one and then we'll be complete! As Steve and I left the city, it was awesome to see more of Welly and the feel of it is just so nice. YAY! |
