Thank you Professional Princess and Wiznton for your comments and continued support, it really means a lot.  I also posted my quandry in another forum and was overwhelmed by the response.  As such I realise I couldn't see the wood for trees!  A job is a job.  Outside of work hours, I still need to live and play!  If something went wrong with the job, I'd be committed to another tenancy agreement and be really VERY miserable.   No one left the UK to advance their career, they came for the lifestyle and I don't feel that I am having an ideal lifestyle here in Auckland.  Last time I was in Auckland I didn't like it, I don't know why I thought it would be different this time.  I feel dreadful for the organisation though, I've really let them down.  I sent the email to them, but my reason was that Steve's company were relocating us to Wellington.  My only regret is letting them down, but I know we've made the right decision. I'm truly excited about moving away and I know that there are some great prospects waiting for me in Wellington.  Next week (after the court case!!) we're heading to Welly for a recce.  I'm looking forward to being out of Auckland!
