| So, yesterday we looked outside a house for rent. We didn't like the area too much and felt that the house had to be pretty spectacular inside to warrant us living there. The area is OK, its just a typical NZ farming town. We viewed the house today inside and both of us LOVED it!! Its absolutely amazing, HUGE, 5 bedrooms, 2 ensuite, 4 bathrooms, three living areas. When we arrived, the estate agent and the current tenant made a joke about Moon being lost in the house, we kind of dismissed it, but its true, we couldn't believe the size of the place, and gorgeous gardens! We didn't expect to love it so much! We started picking bedrooms and making plans. Although the place is completely unfurnished. At least when we get our stuff from Aussie there'll be plenty of room for it! We made the application this afternoon, and wait fingers crossed. I already passed the credit check, the estate agent was happy with all our paperwork. Another family have applied for the house at THE SAME TIME (!) but the estate agent thinks that we suit it best. I bloody hope so!! Its below budget at $700 a week and the landlord might decrease it by 50 bucks after the initial 6 months period! Incredible! I would be so happy in that house! As for the car, well we're bidding like nutters on trademe, so we hope to have one by next week! Could all be sorted for good in a few weeks!! I'm so excited!! |
