So, yesterday we went to Tauranga to see if it was apossible place for us to live, and errrr...NO!!  I've decided that I want to be in Auckland, where we are, in the Rodney District is just pefect.  So we looked at a beautiful house for rent not to far away, it was just PERFECT, but the owner has someone interested already and he wanted us to commit sooner than we can.  Our tenancy here doesn't expire until April and we don't want to let our landlords down because they've been so good to us, so it looks like we'll probably miss out.  Looking online there seem to be a quite a few nice places that suit us, so we're going to arrange viewings next week.  I think here is the best place for us, better healthcare, better schools and Steve can earn more money.  That house was so gorgeous, out in the middle of nowhere, I loved it, so much space!!  Ah well, guess we'll see what happens.  As for the car search, well there seem to be a few 'runarounds' for us.  Steve says we can buy one cheap now and then get two nice ones in a few months.  I was a bit miserable about it at first because I love 4wds and knew they'd be out of our price range, but you can actually get quite a decent car quite cheaply here. I'm really excited.  For the first time ever, I am so excited about my life.  There is so much to look forward to, in a few months, we'll be all settled and for the first time, things seem to be working in a our favour.  I think we'll be able to live in our dream place and have our 4wds.  We'll buy eventually, but right now renting suits us.  I can't express how much I look forward to each day.  Our time in the UK seems a million lifetimes ago!
