The ups and downs of our planned new life to NZ, warts and all!

Jessie's paperwork and my flightsSun 7 January 2007
So, finally, Jessie's paperwork is in.  Citizenship takes 20 days, called the embassy and they said it would be 20 days, no less, because of legal requirements.  That's OK though.  It was hard work getting it all filled in though!  Bloody health visitor!  Anyway, started making enquries about my flight, not sure what we're going to do.  Perhaps buy a one-way ticket from AKL to LON for me, so we can get a refund.  Because I'm flying on a toursit visa, I need a ticket as proof I'm going to leave after six months.  Air New Zealand got back to me to say I needed to call there centre to arrange flights.  But as Singapore are the same price, hopefully can fly with them.  Steve will book the flights at the end of Jan, fingers crossed!  Cant wait to hear a date!  Also got my police check back.  Keep looking at houses and sites in NZ, wishing it would hurry up.
