Are you moving to the USA?

Hello, my name is Mary Louise Collins and I am planning to move back to Scotland in the summer of 2018 with my husband and adult son. I have lived in Vermont since 2001, and have naturally accumulated a lot of things that are either too large or too electrical to move back. So I am wondering whether there might be someone who is planning to move to the US who might be interested in swapping possessions. For instance, just last May I bought a 2015 Honda Civic that currently has 24,000 miles. By the time we move, it will have less than 50,000 miles on it. I love my car, and have looked into taking it with me. Aside from the expense of transporting it, I think that I would have difficulty with the steering wheel being on the wrong side of the car for the UK. We also have a lot of electronic items that we won't function in the UK... I'm happy to talk with anyone planning to come to the US about living here, particularly in regards to the educational system. I am a Steiner/Waldorf teacher and while my professional life has been exclusively in these private schools, I have had a great deal of contact with the public (state) educational system as well. In particular, my son has special needs and I have worked closely with the public school system with respect to his education. While we live in Vermont now, my husband is from Wisconsin and we also know the Midwest quite well.
