Its been a while.................

since my last blog entry, sorry.

So what has Cassie been doing with herself all this time.  Neils parents came over for two weeks on 2nd July.  It was their first ever holiday abroad.

We took them on a road trip, we headed to Stettler and went on the Alberta Prairie Railway Excursion.  It wasn't too badly priced at $85 pp, which included a meal when we got to Big Valley but before that the train was robbed.  It was all acted mind you.  The trip was good but it was one of them things you would just do once.

After that we set off for Drumheller, then Banff this time we went up the Banff Gonola, something we have never done before.  The cost was $27.62, and again something we have done and don't really need to do again.

The views were amazing at the Summit of the Sulphur Mountain 2,292 feet!

We headed to Calgary but stopped just outside at a place called Airdre.  The next day we went to the Stampede.

Hi everyone I'm back to comp;ete where I left off yesterday.  Jesus I have so much to do!  Just wacked in a load of dirty dishes in the dishwasher still have some surry stained pans to wash.  The ironing has come back with a vengence.  It follows you, you know the house cleaning.

Anyway where was I, oh yeah at the Stampede.

It was quite good fun but it was a hot day if I remember rightly.  I con't remember how much we paid to watch the Stampede but the barrel racing was the best.

Not sure if this guy got hurt, but it was funny.

There was another show we went to see which was free, I knew something was going to go wrong when you see a guy stood on some horese you just know don't you.

I taped it all! if any of you have a Facebook account PM me, it all went horribly wrong for him.

I missed telling you all something, oh god how could I forget this!  When we left Drummheller we headed for a place called Torrington.  This is where the Gopher Museum is.

What the hell is that? well it's a place where they have stuffed them and dressed them in silly outfits, only in Alberta, Eh!

I won't upload all the pictures just in case some of you are as silly as me and want to go, its only $2 each and it's worth the laugh!

This is the best bit, the Rocky Mountains, I'm sure I've done this in the wrong order but who cares its my blog!

The picture above is of Johnston Canyon.  It took us about an hour to get to the Upper Canyon but it was well worth it.

This place also took my breath away, it was hidden away and not many tourist seem to know about it.  It was truely an amazing sight.  I can't remember what this was called this is the problem with typing so long after going to the place.  Sorry.
