There are a few things happening this week, its my husband, Neils Birthday today, our wedding anniversary on Friday and just yesterday it was six months of living in Canada.
This afternoon we are off out to lunch before Neil goes off to Yukon for the week for work. He flies back on the Firday Evening so at least we get to salvage some of our Fifh Year Wedding Anniversary, its the first one that we haven't spent on holiday together something of a ritual within our marriage.
I've offered Neil a guest part in my Blog section when he comes back, I want him to share what Yukon is like and also how he is getting on within his position. As I have said before he is a Chartered Structural Engineer and I think his imput would be interesting for someone else to read that might be thinking of Emigrating to Alberta. I've tried lots of times for him to read the forum and give some comments but he won't so I was quite surprised when he said yes to the blog entry.
I'm very glad I'm working, but I do have two days off this week. My manager has just recently transfered this sweet girl to our store. She's worked within the company for four years and because we needed another keyholder for our store she fit the bill. I'm not the only girl anymore. I got talking to her, as you do and she has offered to come round to our appartment on one of the days off I have. Originally I was going to ask to work at another store for them two days just so I wouldn't be alone, but she took pity on me. So it seems I have my first Canadian friend.
The other day off I am going to try to arrange a meetup at mine with the bunch of BE friends I've made fingers crossed some of them can make it at short notice, failing that there is always the oven to clean.
