We left Vancouver after our breckfast and started heading back to Edmonton, the trip can be done in about 12 - 13 hours but I'm not really up for that.
We headed back through Chilliwack, then Hope and took Highway 5 up the Coquilhalla Highway.
These photos were taken on the drive.

All of the day was driving to be honest we stopped at Merritt for a pit stop. Merritt is described as the Country Music Capital of Canada. It hosts a music festival that draws 120,000 people every July.

We headed back through Kamloops and finally stopped at a place called Chase, it has a population of 2,500. The main industries are forestry and tourism.
The town was named afted Whitfield Chase, an American from New York State who arrived in the area in 1867 during the Fraser Canyon Gold Rush.
The town was named in honour of him although the community did not exist until more than 10 years after his death.
