Hi folks.
Gosh I don't think I have blogged for over a week and I've been meaning to get to my computer since Sunday! We went out for yet another adventure drive/walk. This time we headed Soutwest of the City Centre about 94km's.
The place was called Coyote Lake and it was quite easy to find, I did have a bit of a complaining husband though, "how far are we going, I'm going to see the mountains soon!" he was saying to me, bless him.
Yet agian it was another hot, hot day. Every time we decide to go for a walk, its hot. I was armed this time with some factor 45, yes 45 I don't really like to tan so the higher the better.

I was saying to Nei that it felt like we were in the middle of no where, I always fall into these traps because his reply was "..............because we are"

It was all a privately owned site, you sign in a register by the owners house then pick up one of the trails. I think the whole site is 800 acres not all of this is open to Joe public but it was quite well sign posted round. Apparently there are Moose, deer and Wapiti (Elk) that you can see here but you have better chances of seeing them at dusk or dawn. With a very long drive home I wasn't really wanting to stay that long.

Looking over the lake but most of the walk was away from it.

I know its just a frog and we had them back in England but I've got a new camera remember.

Oh yes, the middle of no where

Another lake picture as we were eating our lunch ready for the next walk.

This place was so peaceful all you could hear was the Blue Jays singing, and what a wonderful tune they make.

I don't think we had any of these in Blighty, answers on a postcard "What the hell is it?"

Its not really what you want to be finding on a walk miles away from anyone. I'm sure it isn't human or so I hoped.

A sweet little butterfly.

A big Ant thing.

One of a pylon looking up. Neil told me to do it, I have no idea why but it looks like one of them Arty Farty shots. |
