I've started planning for our holiday at first we were going to go to Las Vegas but we have been there before so we have decided to do a road trip to Vancouver, British Columbia.

How many KM's is this going to add up to well I just asked my friend, which of course is my Sat Nav and the grand total is 1153kms total time 13:15 hours.

We won't be doing it all in one go, we will stop over for two night along the way in the great Canadian Rocky mountains its going to be a fantastic drive, I'm really looking forward to it.

I've reseached the hotel I want to stay in and they have secure underground parking and we will be staying a total of two nights in the City and heading back through the mountains again, stoping off along the way.

I am just researching the way there and trying to figure out some stop off points, I was going to be spontaneous but I just couldn't do it, I'm a forward planning kind of girl.

I've noticed a place called Blackpool in BC, must take a photo of that as the home land is Blackpool, Lancashire.  I know, I know, how sad am I.

We've been looking at a new camera,  The Canon Power Shot SX1 IS it has a 20 times zoom.  Wow.  I want one with a better zoom as I am missing some really good wildlife shots as I am getting too close to them and scaring them away. 

Back to the road trip drawing board, and back to planning our BC adventure.
