Chickakoo Lake, outside Edmonton.

Another day another trip out, this time we went to Chickakoo Lake Recreation Area about 63 km west of Edmonton City Centre, the area is party of Glory Hills.

It has an area of 194-ha of wildlife sanctuary with Forest, Lakes and Ponds.

This is a map of the area

One of the seven Lakes

It kind of looks like I'm leaning on Neil but it was a mad dash to get to him because of the self timer.

Neil part way up a steep hill

Looking down the Steep Hill and there was a few, some still covered in thick snow and ice.

The sun was out and it made a great day out.

Someone was trying to make I point I think.  Could be a name for a cocktail.

Look at them clouds and that blue sky.

It was another great trip out, the pathways were still covered in snow and ice but in areas it has started to melt.

Its a great evening 4:30pm and I'm updating my blog on my balcony with the sun still beaming at 20 degrees C.

another stunning day in Alberta !

It's lovely when the weather is like this - truly relaxing. Mind those shoulders Cassie! - I've caught more sun here in Canada than I ever did in the UK or even Spain. In fact, I actually had what one could call a tan last year - hee hee!
