It's been three whole months since we landed in Edmonton today and the time has flown by, it has really pushed me into thinking today I must get us started on the Permanent Residence Application!
I have been pottering about on BE Wiki pages all morning and Citizenship and Immigration Canada Website. Its taken me about an hour to find out which forms to fill out
My head is in a spin and I've been e-mailing a friend of ours to ask if what I'm doing is correct, she has the patience of a saint with me and I really appriciate your help sweety. You know who you are I won't name names here.
I have all the applications printed on my desk and I am now attempting to go through six pages of Visa Office Specific Instructions, WOW! There seems to be other forms I may need to print off.
We are going the "Fast Track Permanent Residence Application route" but we still have to fill out the full "Skilled Worker" application for Permanent Residence it seems. This is because we have not filled any PR forms out at the moment, we just have the "Two Year Work Permit, LMO"
If anyone else would like to offer any advice I would really appricate it and I will try not to give you a headache.
Yes, three months
Looking back on what we have done so far it's amazing, we seem to have done so much in so little time. I haven't regreted one bit of it and enjoy everyday I look out of my window and think WOW i'm in another country. I feel blessed.
Its currently snowing again here in Edmonton which gets the big thumbs up from me. The more snow the more ski I saw a Jack Rabbit this morning outside when I opened our bedroom curtains. I was going to take a picture but knew when I found out where it was it would have run off.
I must stop waffling on and get my head down and on with this PR stuff, I feel my head is a bit fresher to be able to handle it again.
I'm sure its not as hard as I am making it out, is it?
