Cassie is trying to stay positive
Well it looks as though this may be bad news I'm not so sure. Neil contacted the container people today but they only replied by email. Apparently our container arrived in Montreal on 3rd December 2008 but the Canadian Food Inspection Agency has put a hold on it. Our removal company has sent them some documents they were requiring and they are hoping the container will be released and moved from Montreal this weekend. If not there is going to be a delay of another week.
I'm hoping that they are not going to charge us, we haven't brought any food with us. Nothing not even coffee and I even took out my Play Dough because I was too scared. (I know what your thinking, what a kid)
I'm not going to let this get me down, I have a roof over my head and that's all that matters.
Its slippy
I came out of Canadian Superstore and as I was walking through the car park I very nearly went on my arse. I had about five shopping bags in my hands but luckly I just managed to stop myself. I did a quick check around to see if anyone had seen me or not and went on my way. I have slip on snow studs as well so that will teach me.
Electric Shocks
This is one of the things that really annoys me I keep getting shocks off everything. The lift button is the joker out of the lot of the things that hurt. I pressed the button to go down to the parkage and no joke I even saw a bloody spark. Yes a spark from my finger to the button it bloody hurt. I tried to get the better of it today and pulled my sleave over my finger. I bet you can't guess what happened next, yes the bloody thing did it again even through a thick coat sleave. Do you think people will think I'm strange if I carry a wooden spoon to press the button in with.
Hairdressers
Yes, I really need to go to the hairdressers. The time has come. The ladies out there know what I'm talking about, I have a real phobia about having a new hairdresser. Its the fear of the unknown and will they make my hair look a mess. I had the same hairdresser for 11 years then she emigrated so I found another one and stuck with her until I moved.
I always had my hair coloured every seven weeks back in the UK but it must be going on 10 weeks by now. (My roots are really bad) I went into a few in the mall but I wasn't that impressed. I don't want to go to a cheap one but I also don't want to go to a snobby one either. I found one round the corner on a retail park from where we live. They all seem nice, the hairdressers is quite modern looking and she let me look at there colour chart as I like my red colours. They were quite helpful.
My appointment is on Wednesday 17th at 12noon with a girl called Natalia I just hope she is chatty I can spend up to three hours in the hairdressers. |
