Here I go, on my own again.

I think that's how the song goes

Sorry I was struggling with the title, (I'm such a dork)

While hubbies at work Cassie will play, what have I been getting up to well........ I wanted to drive a bit further on my own so I decided to drive to our bank which is about 10 mins away from where we are based.  I looked at the map before I set off and thought I knew where I was going.  As I set off driving it started to snow for the first time we have been here.  Anyway I drove down the road and joined onto the Anthony Henday  but I went the wrong way and ended up coming off where I started.   I always do that, go the opposite way I am surposed to.

I needed some fuel so I stopped off at the gas station,  I thought if I put plenty in  then it shouldn't matter too much if I get lost.  I stopped next to the gas pump and tried to fill it but it kept beeping at me.  Then a guy came over the microphone telling me it is self pay service and to put in my credit card.  I decided to just ask for help, there was a lady just getting into her car and she offered to help me out.  I reversed behind her and she filled up the car for me, I managed to fill 3/4 of our small dodge up on $20, how mad is that.  When I got to the check out the guy said "that would be $200" what a joker.

I managed to find the right road I needed to get to the bank and I got there alive so that is something, right.  The bank was a whole other issue at first my card was telling me I didn't have enough money in my account to draw out $500 I nearly went white.  I turns out that my limit to draw out is less than $500 so I got there in the end.  They were so helpful at the branch we are with, she helped me put money into our chequeing account so I now know what to do.

After that I drove to our apartment and had a walk round the area, I kept getting snow in my eye balls   I was trying to find out our local shops etc.  There is a bus stop just outside so I just need to find out if  it would take Neil to work or not.

I'm just sat at my computer now its 3:32pm and it looks as though the snow has stopped outside.  Just waiting for Neil to come back and we will get his ski's tonight.

Neil said he is going to get in touch with the power company today and try to arrange for our hook up for 8th December.  Fingers crossed there are no problems there.
