Neil has an appointment to phone the Immigration Consultant tonight, they are going to guide Neil through the application process before we meet with the Immigration Officials. The consultants were provided by the company that is employing Neil so we are lucky.
I will let you know tomorrow what this chat entailed.

As any regular visitor to my blog might be aware by now, nothing in 'Cassieworld' is ever staright forward or simple. Neil sat down last night with pad and paper and was ready for what we thought was going to be a long phone call to Ontario. When Neil phoned the number he recieved a voice mail stating that the guy was away on business.
Neil left a message, tried to contact another person we were in contact with and I have typed an e-mail to them this morning to find out when we should call them back. This telephone meeting had been arranged since 18th September. It was funny though because yeserday afternoon I was thinking of sending an e-mail to say that we haven't forgotten and would be looking forward to speaking with them.

Neil was told to contact them again on the Friday and he did, what we thought was going to be a long call was only about five minutes.
The guy told Neil that when we go to passport control we tell them that we are intending to emigrate. An officer will ask to see his LMO and they will print out a work permit after Neil has shown his passort and told them where he intends to work and answers a few questions. We have been informed we will need to pay $150 each for our work permits and to ask for a work permit for me at the same time.
Lets hope its this simple on the day!
