Peak District National Park

I got myself packed up today early (7:30am) and went off in the car again with my fellow road trip buddy Harvey.  We decided on a day out at the Peak District which is just the other side of Manchester.  Great scenery, I have never been to the Peak District before and I am on this new thing of trying to cram every place in that I have never bothered to go to. (Shame on me).

The Goyt Valley

                                                                                                       Ladybower Reservoir

Derwent Dam

                                                                                  A57 over Ladybower Reservoir

One of the roads leading to one of the many Cavern's

What a great trip out it was, some fantastic views and the rain even held off for me to get some half decent pictures.
