I'm so upset right now! Updates 30th August 2008

I thought if I type this down it might get things into some sort of perspective.

There seems to be an issue with the house sale it has ground to a slight holt.  I went into the Estate Agents today to see what was happening.

They informed me that there is an issue with the deviding wall/fence.  We were asked by the solicitor who owns it and we thought is was half half.  Well apparently it isn't the case it is next doors responsibility.  We have always dealt with the fence because of the dog really, I don't want him going into next doors garden.

Anyway the buyers solicitor has applied for next doors deeds which my soliciltor had to pay for and also asking your next doors land registry info.  This is complete madness!!!!!!!!!!

Its an arguement about half ownership or nothing, all I want to do is get rid of this house.  I feel we are so close yet so far, I will be destroyed if this sale falls through because of something so petty.

The Esate Agents say our buyer is still interested and isn't backing out but it feels like he is going to.  I only had a for sale sign  placed outside yesterday for god sake.

What more can I do?  Apparently I have to wait for the land registy info to come through to his solicitor.  I am going mad.

Updated 30th August 2008

I would like to apologise for being such a Drama Queen for all of the above but it goes to show how stressed you get when going through the process of selling your house and emigrating at the same time.

It is such an up hill struggle sometimes.  One moment you are upbeat and high about everything then the next moment everything is horrible and the most silly things get to you.

I'm not deleteing any of my embaressing moments as it gets the feeling of what it is generally like across and also I can have a good laugh at myself later.

Don't apologise for any entries!

A blog is for capturing these moments, its important for yourself to have something to reflect on and if it does help people along the way - an added bonus! This whole fence issue is so big in the UK, its a huge bone of contention - good luck with getting it sorted out.

Grrrrrrrr!

We hate conveyancing in the UK. Like wading through treacle. Hope it all gets sorted soon and that the rest of the deal concludes smoothly.
