Big Thank You British Expats

When I first started this site I received some horrible replies to topics that I thought were important to me.  It very much depressed and upset me and I did request a Mod to delete my account after about 10 mins.  I am not sure which mod it was that replied but I am very glad they didn't delete me because I have found so much useful information on this site.

I have now started to take the negative comments with a pinch of salt because emigrating is a once in a lifetime dream and we are in a good position to do it.  I don't want anyone doubting our ablility to do it and the possitive and helpful replies are so useful.

I would like to thank all the possitive comments that I have received so far from certain members on this site.  I must remember to give Karma back for your help and making me feel welcome.

One month on I have subscribed for a years membership and I am starting to feel very much a part of the BE community.

Hugs, kisses and a BIG thank you to you all, you should know who you are.   Anyone posting negative posts just have a think first, there is a person sat behind that other screen.

Keep up the good work.

Updated: 1st July 2008 : Four months on and so much has happened since joining this site.  I don't know what I would have done without British Expats.  I have lots of people on this site that I consider my friends and you have been so good and helpful towards me.  I won't mention any names as you all should know who you are.  I could not have made it this far with out your help.  Once again thank you.

Oh dear

I hate to see people having a bad experience, there are some REALLY useless comments and its so annoying, but they're just bitter, like me in NZ! I use the site all the time, its got some excellent resources, I wouldn't know where else to look for somethings and the majority of people will go out of their way to help you and advise you. Best of luck with your move. We hope to relocate to Canada at some point this century too, it certainly sounds like a very special place. Take care and just take the rough with the smooth! x
