It was a shock to Neil's system when I mentioned emigrating to him and it did take a while for him to come round to thinking in might be a good opportunity for us to move to Alberta. We went to a family wedding this weekend (Saturday 28th June) and the rest of his family were saying that we should definitely go for it. Everyone agrees about the state of this country and little opportunities for a possible future child.
I think Neil finds it encouraging that the rest of his family are now behind him. Neil mentioned that he would like it if a member of the family could come over every month, I am up for that as well. We want them to see what is so great about the place.
Its so fantastic that everything seems to be falling into place for us, we have a buyer for our house and all we need now is for Neil to like the job offer and for the employer to like him.
We are at such an exciting time in our lives.
I have been looking at MLS at houses and Neil has said that it might be wise to rent for a while and move about until we find an area we are happy with.
