Why has it only just hit me!

My friend just knocked on my door and asked how my plans were going so I told her and got her up to speed on the situation.

She was asking me when our flights were then I explained that I wanted the sale of the house to go through before booking.  She then asked why I was bothering to wait, what are the chances that the house isn't going to go through now!  She asked for a calendar and as we were looking at the dates she said we really need to be doing something this week.

Neil is going to be handing in his notice on 14th which then gives us the whole of the next week to get everything finalised.

She has suggested getting the flights for 21st, 22nd or 23rd this month which then leaves Neil with one week to sort out everything in Canada so he can then start work on 1st December giving him a wage before the Christmas break kicks in.

I'm off to her house this afternoon as I need someone with a clear head to go through things with me.  I'm hopeless at the moment.

I just went for a walk with the dog and started crying because now I realise its real and we could be in Canada by the end of this month.  I feel there isn't enough time to sort things out ahhhhhhh!
