Terrible timing or what?

I was doing the ironing last night when my iron started making very strange noises. Then the steam function stopped and then the heat.

What a time to break, just a few months away from moving.

Today I had to spend £35 and buy a new one. Trouble is I won't be able to take it with me to Canada so it is pretty much a waste of money.

Never mind, it could have been worse. That is the trouble with having your life on immigration hold, you don't want to renew subscriptions or buy replacement items.

I have been using a travel hair dryer for about 6 months since my main dryer blew up as I am reluctant to buy another for only a few months use.

Sad or what!
